Author Chat Success

Well the day was a complete success. Can I pull it off again, time will tell.

It was actually amazing to see some faces I didnt recognise and even more amazingly people were taking notes.

Anyway, I thought I would share a few

photos and I want to thank my support team, you guys are awesome especially by girls 'the lollies' and a special thank you to Kate and Wendy- Laurieton Library team members, whose constant community support is invaluable.

You girls rock!

So the day has arrived where I step out into the world and talk about my writing career in public- such as it is thus far.

I will be at Laurieton Library on Saturday the 24th of September 10am.

There will be morning tea provided- I hope this means Tim Tams- there will be a lucky door prize and other giveaways and who doesn't like those.

My debut novel TAKING BACK HIS WIDOW will be available in digital and print on the day and together we will all celebrate my coming out of sorts with you fellow readers and even some talented authors and friends like Karly Lane author of North Star and Suzanne Brandyn Author of Heat In The Outback.

Deadly Descent- Kaylea Cross

I just got word that I have won a copy of Kaylea's release- Deadly Descent, a romantic suspense.

I am quite excited to read this one as she had gone to quite a length to research so that we could experience a believable and ALIVE read.

That time of the year

Yes, it's that time of the year again where a great load Australian romance writers all congregate in one building, well not me this year.

But don't shed a tear just yet because Karly Lane (Blakemore-Mowle) and myself decided to have our very own mini-conference at Opal Cove Resort in the beautiful and warm Coffs Harbour.

It will be Tim Tams, good wine, maybe some cheap wine (grin), brainstorming, fantastic coffee, writing, yummy food like more Tim Tams- my hips are getting wider just mentioning them, and the best yet... AWESOME company.

So when we get back we will make sure there is an official update as I will be awaiting those who have taken flight to the chilly Melbourne. Brrrr.

Have Fun and good luck to all those pitching and get well all of those who have taken ill last minute and had to cancel their trip.

Happy writing, learning, reading and remember to have a drink for me at the cocktail party.
