Diet v's Writing.

Trying to juggle writing with work, children-(including DH), pets and house duties is like trying to diet.
everyday i say, it's okay. you can start afresh tomorrow, and before you know it your ms is practically untouched or you've gained 20kg's.
I'm so depressed and tired. I haven't found my balance since i started in early November.
which also brings me to the fact i have neglected my friend- hi Suz.
so, i used to write in the early hours when my kids were home, then i had anytime when they went to school, now it's like i have no time at all. if I'm not working or doing the mother/wife things, i just want to sleep.
BOOHOO! my DH says, 'have a cup of concrete.... and toughen up'. Or you'll love this one, 'want a tissue princess'
huh, where is the sympathy?
i would love to hear how you busy writers cope with the juggle of life that takes us from our Passion.

Hey Kez,
I'd say let it be until the New Year and start fresh. Do some reading and find your writer's voice again.

Hope you have a great Christmas.

Hey Kez, I agree with Sandie. Don't pressure yourself. It happens. I had a whole year where I didn't write a single word (or close to). Life has a way of doing that at times.

So sending you some positive vibes your way and some sympathy too. Catch up on some reading and movies, and maybe just have pen and paper with you to jot down notes. Whatever works for you.

Oh Kez, hugs. It's too hard to try and pretend to get happy when your thoughts are nowhere near it.

I've been busy too, but in all honesty I haven't been depressed or worried about not writing (this time last year was a different story). I'm too busy having fun (most of the time) with my new ventures.

I think, for me that is the key - the not worrying part. Everything will work out fine, so find a way to bring about some ease for yourself in the thinking and worrying department. There is no race, when you are ready you are ready and no one will be able to stop you! Until then, enjoy where you are in the moment - it serves a purpose, even if you don't know what it is yet :-)

Anyway, I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas!
